LTEC Degree Programs
Programs in this department provide you the knowledge and experience needed to use and improve learning technologies through research, product development and application of current tools to solving educational problems.
The department offers Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences (B.A.A.S.), Master of Science, Master of Education, Doctor of Education and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Applied Technology and Performance Improvement (ATPI); a Master of Science degree in Computer Education and Cognitive Systems (CECS); and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Educational Computing.
The degree programs are nationally and internationally known for helping future educators and technology professionals understand technology tools and their applications. Graduates play key roles in educational and business settings such as school principals, technology coordinators, web designers and developers, technical consultants, higher education faculty, instructional designers, and researchers.
Career and technical education (CTE) certification is coordinated by specialized faculty in the ATPI program. You can earn a certificate in marketing education, trade and industrial education, health science technology education, or career investigation/career connections.
