CECS 1100 and Moodle

Each face-to-face section of CECS 1100 (including CECS 1100.030, .031, .032. and .033) will meet at their assigned time(s) in their assigned room (Matthews Hall, Room 310). The remainder of the time, they will meet online or in your small groups. Online sections will meet only online.

Moodle

Exams will take place in a course management system similar to WebCT called the Moodle, which can be found at http://moodle.lt.unt.edu and our class section is CECS 1100.030. This is where you will find resources for the class, can communicate with peers or myself, and will post assignments.

How to enroll in the Moodle:

Step 1 - Go to: http://moodle.lt.unt.edu

Step 2 - On the lower right hand side where it says Login (below the calendar), there is a link to Create New Account

Step 3 - Click on that link.

Step 4 - Fill in the information it asks for here. You will need to use a valid e-mail address.

Step 5 - Check your e-mail. An activation link will be sent to you. Click on it.

Step 6 - Log in to the Moodle with your username and password.

Step 7 - Click on the Sprin 2009 link on the left hand side.

Step 8 - Click on the link for CECS 1100.030, .031, .032, .or .033 (depending on your section) or for online sections, use .020/026, .021, .022 for Spring 2009.

Step 9 - Click Enroll in this class.

Step 10 - If it asks for a code, enter the four digit code �CECS� in all capitals.
